Barons Hockey is committed to building a development environment where players are given every opportunity to grow, compete, and advance — regardless of circumstance.  As the game continues to evolve, so do the demands placed on athletes and families. Travel, training, and competition at elite levels require significant investment. At the same time, we recognize that many families are navigating increasingly challenging economic conditions. Our objective is clear: no player should be excluded from opportunity due to financial barriers.

Royal Barons and Brantford Barons Travel Team Tryouts | Winter 2026–2027 Our program is built on a strong commitment to player development, providing athletes with a structured, supportive environment to grow their skills, hockey IQ, and confidence at every stage. All teams are competing in Contact Divisions within the NAPHL and ORHL. We will be fielding teams at the U9, U11, 12U/U13, 14U/U15, 16U/U17, and 18U/U19 levels, competing in the NAPHL and ORHL. Each team may carry up to 22 players, with coaches having the option to reserve up to 5 of those spots for Affiliate Players ...

BARONS HOCKEY – COACH APPLICATIONS OPEN 2026 / 2027 SEASON We are now accepting coaching applications for the following Travel Rep Divisions: Contact Divisions • 18U/U19 • 16U/17U • 14U/U15 • 12U/U13 • U11 • U9 These are high-standard travel programs. Not all games are local. Weekend travel, showcases, and league commitments are part of the job. We are not looking for convenience coaches, we are looking for builders.

Barons Brigade gain exclusive access to our elite coaching staff and personalized training programs. We dedicate extensive time and effort to sourcing and retaining world-class coaches from around the globe, ensuring that our program stands out from any other in Brantford and the surrounding areas. While most of our coaches are not local, we collaborate closely with them to maintain their specialized training approaches, delivering unparalleled development opportunities for Brigade members.
